The importance of Big Data in Finance Departments
Business organisations are immersed in the digital transformationwhich in many cases is being led by professionals in the financial area. It is one of the strategic areas of the company, because its field of action is related to all the main operations of the organisation.
Financial managers in companies, together with their teams, have to carry out their tasks in the financial area. reports economic-financial, in many cases manually, using basic tools such as Excel, which is a laborious, time-consuming and error-prone process. Moreover, the information obtained with these spreadsheets is limited in time (monthly reports, quarterly and annual closings, etc.) and does not provide in-depth analysis of the data, nor does it allow for reliable forecasting.
Thanks to the BI / Big BI tools DataNow, financial managers and their teams can design financial dashboards, which automatically connect to data sources in real time, extract them without errors, analyse them in depth, extract valuable information and display it in a visually appealing and intuitive way, allowing conclusions to be drawn and trends to be anticipated, in order to achieve business objectives. These reports allow financial managers and CEOs and General Managers to make decisions in real time.
