What is Microsoft Ignite

Microsoft Ignite is the more Microsoft's annual worldwide event, focused on developers and IT professionals, where all the latest news and innovations in Microsoft technologies are presented. This 2022 edition was held this October in Seattle. It was a hybrid format event, in person but simultaneously broadcast in streaming, so that hundreds of thousands of people around the world could follow it.

In this event more than 100 services and upgrades of the various technologies of the Microsoft, focused on helping companies in their transformation and digitisation processes, all based on the motto: "We are committed to the transformation and digitisation of companies.Do more with les": Do more, with less.

From now on, Microsoft Azure customers will have new hybrid and multicloud offerings to tailor the Azure offering to their needs. What's new in Microsoft 365

Microsoft Office disappears, to be merged into Microsoft 365

The first thing to note is that it disappears Microsoft Office and as of November, it will only be available in Microsoft 365. For companies using Microsoft Office, they will be automatically upgraded to the new version. Users will continue to have access to Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlookbut within Microsoft 365.

At Microsoft Ignite, it was announced the general availability of Microsoft Power Platform Managed Environments This Power Platform tool will enable companies to govern low code with a central low code platform. Enterprise IT managers will be able to manage and govern their low code assets from a central framework, giving visibility into everything that is being developed. IT managers will no longer have to go to the admin centre to get visibility of what is being done on the Power Platform, with Managed Environment, an email is automatically sent to the IT manager with all Microsoft Power Platform usage information.
