Speakers at Power Platform Bootcamp Madrid 2022
Everybody is invited to participate as a speaker at the Global Power Platform Bootcamp Madrid 2022. Once again this year we had a large participation of great professionals who were delighted to share their knowledge with the community:

Agenda Power Platform Bootcamp Madrid 2022
This is the agenda of the eventwith all the talks and speakers:
Extracting content from text with Power Query, or not 🙂
From Power Query there are countless options for efficient text processing. The session will show some examples that confirm this. And we will also see other examples in which it is very good to rely on other options such as R, Python and Azure Cognitive Services.
ROOM 1
Fri 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Build an alarm for your home with Power Platform
That it will cost you less to buy the alarm on the web? Sure, but what about the fun of setting it up yourself, what about getting your fingers dirty connecting pins, drilling holes in walls and showing your friends what you can do when you have time on your hands? In this session we are going to set up an alarm for your house, which detects movement and electrocutes people when they approach; (note from the organisers): electrocuting people is not allowed, we will be watching....
ROOM 2
Fri 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Monitoring remote desktop sessions
The advent of virtual desktops in Azure is one of the cloud's most powerful capabilities. Analysing and monitoring these sessions will help plan their sizing and scaling.
In this session we will review the main points to build a dashboard in Power BI powered by the data generated by Virtual Desktop in LogAnalytics.
ROOM 3
Fri 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Segmentations VS Filters in Power BI
When we make our reports is to offer users how to filter the information, we can do that with both filters and segmentations, let's see the advantages and disadvantages of each one.
ROOM 1
Fri 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
When the star schema is not enough in Power BI: constellation schemas
Session/lecture describing the real need to adopt a constellation data model schema (several fact tables) in Power BI. It will explain the different reasons that may exist, the forms that these schemas take, real examples and circumstances that lead to the use of DAX in these situations.
ROOM 1
Fri 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Put a BOT on your website, with Power Virtual Agent
We will learn how to create a Virtual Assistant with Power Virtual Agent, how to create the question and answer flows and then place it on our business website.
ROOM 2
Fri 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Fast forms processing with Power Automate
in this session we will see how we can save a lot of time when processing forms if we use Power automate by connecting to email and a sharePoint list.
ROOM 3
Fri 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Create stunning visualisations in Power BI with Deneb
In this session you will see practical examples of how to develop amazing visualisations with the custom visual Deneb.
Deneb is a custom Power BI visualisation that uses the Vega or Vega-Lite language so you can create your own charts to take your Power BI reports to the next level.
Do you dare to join the Denebian sect?
ROOM 2
Fri 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Pro developer Powerapps Portals
We can now program code components in our Portals and extend our functionality.
During the session we will see how a Pro Developer can extend portals either by connecting to APIS in Azure or by programming code components with component framework.
ROOM 3
Fri 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Digital Transformation with Excel and Power BI
Microsoft's integration between Excel and Power BI will allow companies to optimise processes and reduce efforts in the exploitation of data. If users continue to use what they know, Excel, using centralised and governed data, Power BI, will significantly change the way they work, achieving a digital transformation. In this workshop we will walk through the process and demonstrate how these tools are integrated.
ROOM 1
Fri 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Generate Power BI usage model with API from dataflows
We will learn from scratch everything we need to generate a Power BI usage model, looking at all the data options we can get from the API, from workspace information, datasets and reports to activity reports.
ROOM 3
Fri 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
My first statement of accounts in Power BI
Statements of account: Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss.
ROOM 1
Fri 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Visual Personalisation Power: Deneb and Vega-Lite
Deneb as a gateway to use Vega languages, and overcome the visual limits of Power BI.

Leveraging DAX's ensemble functions to provide actionable business answers.
In this session we will see how to use the Union, Except and Intercept functions of DAX to answer business questions useful for decision making.
ROOM 3
Fri 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The magic of AI in Power Virtual Agents
Microsoft's mission is to democratise conversational AI so that every organisation on the planet can easily build, manage and use intelligent bots, all without requiring any coding or AI expertise.
To realise this vision there are continually new AI developments in Power Virtual Agents.
In this session we will be able to integrate 2 IA services.
The first is a cognitive service (QnA Maker). With this service we are going to generate a knowledge base related to a FAQ and then connect it in PVA. The functionality of this is, when the user enters a text that is not within the flow of the dialogue this text is sent to QnA Maker and immediately returns an answer.
The second is a pre-built AI Builder model which will analyse the sentiments of a given text, entered from the chatbot. To evaluate certain use cases.
For the 2 services mentioned above we will use Power Automate to automate repetitive processes.
ROOM 2
Fri 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Translate Text using Power BI and Azure Cognitive Services
In this session, you will learn how to create a cognitive text translation service in Azure (Translator 3.0) and how to consume it by connecting to the REST API from Power BI. Yes, you read that right, from Power BI!
Text Translation is a cloud-based feature that uses neural machine translation technology to translate text from one source language to another in a fast and agile way in real time.
We look forward to learning about this integration together!
