Emerging trends point to a new reality: AI assistants that will be able to anticipate needs and provide the solution to a problem before even asking the question; that will perform complex business operations in a fully automated way; intelligent systems that make decisions autonomously and in real time; and even algorithms that will manage resources in a fully efficient way to drive sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These extraordinary advances in artificial intelligence will generate great opportunities and benefits, but they will also pose significant challenges. Ethics, privacy, sustainability and fairness will be central issues that organisations will need to proactively address. Knowing the key trends and preparing for these challenges is not only essential to be competitive, but to have the opportunity to lead the transformation to a better future for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. According to a study by <strong>Microsoft<\/strong>Almost 70 % of the Fortune 500 companies already use <strong>Microsoft 365 Copilot<\/strong> to automate simple tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the arrival of the <strong>AI agents,<\/strong> as the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/next-step.es\/en\/microsoft-365-personalised-agent-automation\/\"><strong>personalised agents<\/strong>&nbsp;for&nbsp;<strong>Microsoft 365<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Copilot Studio<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>are a true revolution, as they are extraordinarily powerful assistants capable of performing complex operations in an automated way, from start to finish. Their cognitive capabilities (perception, analysis, understanding, learning, decision-making and execution) are far more advanced than the traditional artificial intelligence we have known so far. This will enable companies to transform business processes and increase productivity. According to McKinsey, the adoption of automation could increase overall business productivity by 0.5 to 3.4% annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although these <strong>Personalised AI agents <\/strong>cannot completely replace workers, it is logical to think that the number of employees needed for certain functions in the company could be reduced. This could lead to fear among employees of being replaced by technology. Therefore, the main challenge for companies in 2025 will be to implement automation with AI agents, in order to be more competitive, but applying ethical criteria so as not to displace people, but to empower them. This will require three simultaneous processes to be carried out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Automation of complex tasks<\/strong> with <strong>AI agents<\/strong>Implement autonomous AI agents to automate not only repetitive tasks, but also complex decision-making processes and advanced analytics, to increase productivity and become more competitive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Training and redefinition of job roles<\/strong>AI will redefine job roles, with humans managing teams of autonomous agents. This will imply a reorganisation of work structures and the need for new skills to supervise and collaborate with these agents. Companies will need to invest in programmes to train their employees and help them acquire the skills needed for their new role. AI in 2025 will contribute to the development of medicines, the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and the management of personal wellbeing through personalised recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Contribution to Sustainability<\/strong>AI will play a crucial role in sustainability, optimising resources and processes to reduce environmental impact.
